Event Description : 'Mughal Treasures' an exhibition of paintings by Ravinder Dutt. 

Artist's Comments : These works stem directly from my DNA as I strongly believe that being born in the city of Shah Jahan, my ancestral DNA had absorbed the essence and opulence of the Mughal Court in Delhi that I am transferring now on canvas.
The works are in mixed media on canvas. The elements of Mughal empire have been contemporized, be it the hukka, the game of chess in war or the gunpower that I am exhibiting in this show. These works are very personal to me, as they are a result of my keen interest in history, art, architecture, culture and fashion.
