Synopsis :
PUTLA DAHAN
Picketing and movements are being exhibited door to door. In this situation, an effigy (PUTLA) is made. Before agitators could burn it, he sneaks away from there. He stealthily reaches at Indra Prastha Park. And then starts the open game of some depraved people of the society in a comical way which opens the eyes of the effigy. In the end when the agitators advances to burn the effigy he places a condition in front of them that, “Whoever is not depraved could step forward and burn me.” Everyone steps back. The effigy guffaws and says that, “I would not die ever, and everything would go on as it is because everyone is corrupt from top to bottom, be it
politician or capitalist or common man.”… Even then, effigy is burned, how? See the play “PUTLA DAHAN”.

BHOOMI
The story runs on two different plots : One portrays the rural society, where people are contended in farming. They live happily aspiring small needs, sowing in their fields, not only their crops but their dreams, wishes and unfulfilled desires. They celebrate each harvest, which seems to bring happiness worth a million dollars to them.
The other plot describes the urban life of a common man, playing with constant humiliations and torture under the dark shades of sky scrapers, concrete jungle. They poured into the city, deserting their friends and family, with the hope of earning a living. Their life is now scattered into pieces on footpath, under streetlamps, beside municipality garbage heaps. This includes rickshaw puller Gopal, sex worker Kamli and Bijju, who runs a tea stall on the footpath. They struggle for survival, crawling each under hellish life. Misfortune plays another foul game as ceiling begins. All illegal constructions were being ravished, the slum dwelling were being uprooted. Every single hand was being deprived of job. That includes cart drivers, rickshaw pullers, tea stall carriers etc., the justification being 'beautification of the city', which considers these creatures as a smudge, a blot on the urban life style.
