Event Description : "Mind and Mountains" an exhibition of paintings by Kashmiri Khosa.
Over the years I have been painting and exhibiting all over the country and at the same time was busy in reading and understanding the ancient Sanskrit text like Upanishads with the help of scholars and learned people of a Gurukul of “Chinmaya Mission” in Tapovan near my Dharamsala studio at Himachal Pradesh.. Now my paintings are inspired by ancient Indian texts like Upanishads. I have been trying to transform ideas and thoughts of Upanishads into modern visual language of art, which perhaps nobody is doing in our country. As desired I am herewith attaching few examples of my paintings going to be exhibited from the beginning of this New Year.
