Event Description : 'Hues of Peace' an exhibition of paintings by Namita Mehrotra. 
Namita did her Art Master Training from Lucknow College of Arts and Craft in 2004. Although, she got married, had a son and continues to manage her family, she has retained her passion for painting and has been trying various media including oil, pastels and Acrylic.
She focuses on The Devine and Peace images and her statement is tranquility. This collection is titled “Hues of Peace” and is generally around Buddha and other Hindu religious images. You also see experiments with Mughal and Rajasthani miniatures, portrait and other genres.
The moods that you observe are generally expressed through eyes, whether closed or open. Textures are used to enhance the background and primary images. The overall effect evokes peace in the mind of the viewers.
