1st December 2012
1. Found One! Sui Is a Big Girl Now, Japan, 15 minutes
Sui is now conscious of herself as a big girl and is eager to do many things on her own. Cossie and Sabo are happy to see her grow, but at the same time, they miss the younger Sui, who needed more help from them.
2. Bhavri, USA, 5 minutes
A little Indian princess, Bhavri, misses her grandfather and decides to send him a note in heaven. When the majestic grandfather revisits earth in toy-size, Bhavri thoroughly enjoys his company. Eventually Bhavri learns the importance of letting go, and grandpa returns to heaven with a crowd of glowing butterflies.
3. Butterfly, India, 2 minutes
A documentary exploring how things are made through children perspective. The film stimulates the children in identifying colour, design and shapes to create beautiful butterfly.
4.Bunty's Tree, India, 6 minutes
This animation short' is a touching and warm story of the bond that exists between a little boy living in a picturesque valley and a tree that grows in the courtyard of his house. The film traces the journey of little boy into adulthood under the love and care of the tree's motherly instincts.
5. What Makes Me Happy : Bushra's Film, UK, 11 minutes.
Bushra's Film, Bangladesh is a film about a sewing girl from the slums of Dhaka, who loves making up songs and singing. In her imagination she believes she is the star of the country's talent singing competition 'Sing to Win', but as viewers, we applaud her for her skill and expertise in sewing sequins, as well as for her over-riding singing dream.
6. Design Ah!, Japan, 15 minutes
Design is about understanding what something is all about, and then reinventing it. Making a thing more beautiful, more comfortable, easier to use. Design is about people and things, but also about people and other people.
7.Vitamin News – Flood, Thailand, 7 minute
Vitamin News is a newscast for children that present ideas, thoughts, and life-styles of people in the society through hot issues which are of public interest nowadays. We provide information in a simple and entertaining way by using various techniques such as cartoon, computer graphic, models, and music. By simplifying context the audience, especially kids from 6 to 12 years old, should be more interested in news.
8. Laterarius, France, 4 minutes
A man meets a woman… Everything is going well, so well that the following morning he decides to go and build a lovely house for her. She follows him.
9. The Bear's Hand, France, 4.30 minutes
Three brothers live in a remote forest glade. One day, when the youngest of the three has to go
into the forest, his fear is so great that he keeps his eyes closed and trips over a bear.
10. Bottoobahtoh, France, 3 minutes
Three poor fisherman have to live together with dreadful pirates and a strange creature from the sea.
2nd December 2012
1. Space, India, 6 minutes
Everyone has their own concept of space. They don’t like to be judged. They want to live away
from any kind of pre-conception. The film explores teenagers, concept of space and impact on
them when it is violated.
2. Stress-o-meter, India, 6 minutes
Teenagers explore stress and their mechanisms to deal with the same.
3. My Little Sister Sona, India, 2 minutes
This animated film deals with the real life experience recount of a girl who lost her sister.
4. The Moving of Rosa Dao, Italy, 3 minutes
In this animation, kindergartners of Laboratorio Immagine 2 reflect on the idea of home and the right to have a family. The tale of this experience deals with the theme of birth and family relationships.
5. How we make democracy, India, 3 minutes
The movie is regarding the democracy and how it affects the society.
6. World on a click, India, 4 minutes
The movie is about the technology and its impact on the society.
7. True - Friendship. Lov, India, 20 minutes
A film exploring friendship, love and loyalty.
8. Khilonewala, India, 3 minutes
An animated poetry film written by poetess Subhadra Kumari Chauhan with the same title `Khilonewala`
9. Maina, India, 4 minutes
A film talks about the issue of Child bride exploring various perspectives.
10. Fancock 4, India, 3 minutes
From the award winning 14 year old director, Ansh Mehra comes the epic journey of Fancock and his friend Trinity. Witness the fight between the good and evil with amazing sound effects done by a teenager.
