In Australia, Dawn and Peter live happily with their four children in the shadow of their gigantic fig tree. When Peter died suddenly, everyone reacts in his own way to continue living. Simone, the 8-year-old little daughter, believes that his father now lives in the tree. One day, she discloses her secret to Dawn... Gradually, Dawn found her energy back and found work. Perhaps a new love too? Life resumed but the tree becomes invasive: its branches, its roots, and even frogs and bats launch an assault on the House and threaten its foundations! Dawn has more choice: to end her life.
