Event Details : 'Reading the Human Genome' a talk by Prof Sydney Brenner, Nobel Laureate, and Senior Distinguished Fellow, Crick-Jacobs Center.
A pioneer in genetics and molecular biology, Prof Brenner was co-discoverer of messenger RNA, while he earned the Nobel Prize for Physiology for the insights into ageing and nerve cell function yielded by his research on the nematode.
