Event Details : ‘Pots Platter & Me’ is a unique exhibition where a 9 year old budding artist will display her creative work in making pottery & ceramic art. The solo show by Avani Singhania will bring out the talent with which she creates innovative and artistic designs with her delicate hands to give shape to her vision.
Avani Singhania has been learning pottery and ceramics arts under the guidance of Ms Ela Mukherjee who is a famous ceramic artist and a winner of Charles Wallace Awards.

About Avani : Nine years old Avani Singhania, a budding artist, is a student of class 4 at Vasant Valley School. Pottery classes and camps at her school fascinated her. and she developed a keen interest in the art. Her parents are great art lovers and collectors and Avani has been accompanying them for art and pottery exhibitions. 
Seeing her interest, she was put under the tutelage of Ms Ela Mukherjee. Ms Ela Mukherjee is a famous ceramic artist and has been awarded by Charles Wallace award.. Ms Mukherjee has honed Avani's art. Last year Avani exhibited some of her creations at a pottery show at Mumbai and won wide acclaim. 
Encouraged by the same, her parents have put together her solo pottery exhibition  titled " Pots, Platters & Me" at India Habitat Centre which will go on till 21st October 2012. 
Avani is creative and innovative in her concept and has delicate hands for her age to give shape to his vision.
"When I see different creations in art books, I feel an urge to create them in my own way. This exhibition is the result of my one year's effort", said Avani.
