Event Details : 'Sounds I have Gathered' An encounter between Israeli classics and ethnic instruments from around the world Presented by Tal Kravitz, musician and singer from Israel who plays the piano, harp, guitar, a variety of bagpipes, the theremin, African percussion instruments and more.
The concert will include the traditional Jewish song, “Hava Nagila”; the Ladino song, “Avre tu Puerta Cerrada”; Schubert’s “Ave Maria” on the musical saw; the Persian folk song, “Gul e Sangam” on darbuka drums; Bollywood songs, and a performance on the kalaleng, the Filipino nose flute.
