Event Details : Sanjivini & Sleepwell Foundation present 'Changing Relationships, Changing Times' panel discussion.
Sanjivini is a registered non-profit voluntary organization that has addressed the mental health needs of our community since 1976. It provides free and confidential counselling to anyone faced with a situation that causes emotional and mental distress.
Over 36 years, the organization has played a major role in building  societal acceptance towards counselling and various mental health issues, through its awareness building and outreach programmes, for various social groups, corporate houses and other NGO’s.
In response to an overwhelming demand, Sanjivini started the Basic Counselling Skills workshop in 2003. Consistently funded by Sleepwell Foundation for 10 years, the workshop is immensely popular. It is spread over a period of three weeks and consists of modules, systematically designed to facilitate self-growth. It helps participants gain a better insight into themselves, learn basic helping skills, and build better relationship with their family, colleagues, bosses and others around them.
The phenomenal flux of changes in every sphere of our lives, has redefined the role of human relationships. Most of us are constantly striving to find the golden rule of building a successful rapport with everybody we come across.
To celebrate the upcoming World Mental Health Day on 10th October, and to commemorate 10 years of our Basic Counselling Skills Workshop, Sanjivini has organized a panel discussion to understand and generate awareness in the society about the complex world of relationships.
The aim here is to help each of us to review our relationships in the light of a fresher, newer, perspective; look at the various different ways to interact; make judicious choices, and to create a more positive future for ourselves and others around us.
