Event Details : “Yearning of the soul” a solo Odissi recital by Ranjana Gauhar, Padma Shri and SNA Awardee.
The performance will lead you thorough the interesting theme as follows. It is timeless, it is indestructible, it is the ‘Soul’. Yet, in its journey from the moment it manifests in a human being the search begins to attain a higher level of consciousness.  A submission and merging of the jeev with the parmatama-supreme consciousness.
Trapped in the many human entities, the “Yearning of the Soul” is constant and in the process goes through several stages of tumultuous existence and with each experience the soul undergoes a catharsis and cleansing which occurs in a life cycle leading the path to sublime joy of realization and surrender to the Almighty.
