The film tells the forgotten story of Polish artist Stefan Norblin (1892-1952), who found safe haven in India during WW2. It follows the journey of the Polish painter, who worked for the royal families of Morvi, Ramgarh and Jodhpur in Pre-Independence India. The original nature of his work, blending styles of European Art Deco with themes from Indian mythology, gave Norblin the status of world innovative artist. The documentary presents some of the finest of the art deco from Mumbai and palatial architecture of that time.
