Event Details : Vishnu Digambar Jayanti Sangeet Samaroh 2012
It  is  jointly organised by  Gandharva  Mahavidyalaya  and  Saraswati Samaj initiated  the  renaissance  of  Indian  Classical  Music  almost  a  century  ago.  It  is perhaps  entirely  due  to  his  efforts  that  classical  music  became  popular  among the  general  public.  Since  its  inception,  Vishnu  Digambar  Jayanti  is  one  of  the few  festivals  in  which  all  the  top  musicians  across  the  country  have  performed as  homage  to  Panditji.  Many  established  senior  artists  have  had  their  maiden performances regularly at the festival.
