Event Details : Celebrating World Photography Day with a Solo Show by Monica Dawar. 
Celebrating World Photography Day, an eclectic exhibition of camera shots is held by Monica Dawar at the Convention Centre Foyer, Habitat World. Covering the cultural circuit for the last 4 years, Monica has established herself as an ace photographer across the panoramic arena of the arts. Her coverage extends in an exhaustive manner across a range of culture related photography. From the genre of Dance, Music, Theatre, Portraits, Wildlife and Street Shots, she has successfully straddled various subject matters. 
The exhibition scheduled for the month of August brings together filaments to weave a rich tapestry of life and expressions. From landscape photography to capturing of the unassuming nature of children, her impressions of still life to the arresting on lens of living social mores and customs, her coverage of Tracy Strum’s workshop… to Tom Alter’s intense theatrical performances on stage, the exhibit presents a holistic range of the gamut of themes that have been captured by the photographer so far. Monica’s agility with the camera strikes fast and sure. The talent for capturing instantaneous emotive expressions comes naturally to her, which translates itself onto the lens for the perceptive viewer.
