Event Details : ARTINFOINDIA.COM, Gurgaon has organised ‘TITLEE – The Butterfly 2012 1st National Art Competition for School Children' with the timely support by Roop Chand, the Chairman of National Art Centre Gurgaon.
The theme is ‘TITLEE – The Butterfly’ a symbol of colours, peace and the beauty of nature. Kishore Chawla an alumni of College of Art, Chandigarh worked for a year to make this project successful. All to gather, more than 1400 paintings in six groups (Preparatory classes to class X) have been received from all over the country.
A Jury comprising of eminent artists of India selected the Paintings for the awards. In each group, eight  awards - first for Rs 5000.00, second for Rs 2000.00, third for Rs 1000.00 and five commended each of Rs.500.00 have been decided to be given to the Awardees.
The Exhibition of the awarded paintings and other 300 worth display shall be exhibited at Habitat Centre New Delhi from 16 August for a month.
