Event Details : 'Science for Survival' film screening.
The film looks at how western science relates to indigenous knowledge and whether a point of convergence is possible, referring to the diverse viewpoints of eco-feminist Dr Vandana Shiva (“a science which does not respect nature’s needs … inevitably threatens survival”), Ayurvedic researcher Dr Sharadini Dahanukar, and silk technologist Prabha Shekar.
