Event Details : Delhi Photography Club & Eveready Ultima present 'Nice Foto 2012' an exhibition of photographs celebrating amateur photography across the world featuring photos from over 100 enthusiasts
aged between 7 years and 58 years from India and around the world.
Enthusiasts from as far as Romania, Netherlands, Iran, England, Germany, and France too have sent in their photographs!
·       Delhi Photography Club (a non profit initiative) is proud to present their second “Nicefoto” exhibition; the one of its kind exhibition for celebrating amateur photography across the world. Nicefoto 2012 will feature photos from over 100 enthusiasts aged between 7 years and 58 years from India and around the world. Enthusiasts from as far as Romania, Netherlands, Iran, England, Germany, and France too have sent in their photographs!
·         Selected photos from exhibits will travel overseas to international exhibitions, honoring amateur photographers, thus creating a global platform for photography enthusiasts.
·      Photography has been practiced as an ‘Art’ limited largely to professionals or for persons with artistic credentials. For a commoner it has remained difficult to imagine beyond the “Auto Mode” of their cameras. The exhibition intends to spread the understanding of photography and the promotion of social connection among the amateur photographers.
·    This exhibition is a unique platform prepared for enthusiasts to showcase their photographs as an expression of fun and joy. The photographs selected for this exhibit represents a sampling of the vibrant views —of the enthusiasts from all walks of life.
·         Delhi Photography Club is a novel initiative to encourage photography enthusiast in understanding techniques, identifying opportunities by providing openness & motivation to learn photography in most exciting ways, says Anil Kumar, founder of the club.
About Delhi Photography Club
·     Delhi Photography Club was setup with the intent of taking photography homes. The purpose of the DPC is to stimulate, enable, and nurture a fraternity of photography enthusiasts for mutual benefit.
·      The club conducts several activities including beginner workshops for adults and children, tours, heritage photowalks and exhibitions. The club also helps the underserved children to express themselves creatively through its outreach activities.
