Event Details : 'VANISTA - in conversation with nature' An exhibition of photographs by Pradeep Deswal.
Photographer, environmentalist and a traveler, Pradeep Deswal moves within the world of images. 
Self taught and multidisciplinary, he is fond of images without artificial additives but with large doses of creativity. The light is his guide.
Pradeep believes that to appreciate nature, one has to travel widely. This quest saw him travel extensively to different parts of the world and India with his camera as a close companion. He explored and captured the beauty of nature, which by now had grown into a passionate hobby and has become an integral part of his existence. 
The innate beauty of nature has always held him in awe. Nature’s myriad hues, its images and its effect on man and his thoughts fascinate him. He took to Photography as an outlet for this urge and passion to explore nature. Motivation and encouragement from his mentors further strengthened his confidence. 
During one of his many sojourns he visited Ladakh region & Sariska jungle and was spellbound by its scenic beauty. This trip changed the very perception of Pradeep towards his hobby. He decided to channelize it into a mission and unveil the beauty of this virgin land of the Himalayan range to the world. 
A gifted person, Pradeep’s tryst with the creative and artistic extends to stone art also. His consummate skill was appreciated and got due recognition from the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, which nominated him as Member, All India Handicraft Board.
