On the occasion of World Dance Day, Kalaikoodam presents a Bharata Natyam dance recital by students of Smt. Komala Varadan. Smt. Komala Varadan studied under Guru Vazhuvoor Ramaiah Pillai, whose centenary is being celebrated this year. This World Dance Day presentation by Kalaikoodam is dedicated to his memory.

About Kalaikoodam : Kalaikoodam was founded by Smt. Komala Varadan in Delhi in 1983. It is a Registered Society and a Voluntary Organisation. The Institute aims at the promotion of Arts, Literature and Culture.
