1. 'Of Abstract Expression and Violence' Exhibition of paintings by Rakesh Gupta, Opening at 11am on 8th April 2012.
The exhibition focuses on abstract expressions of unconscious energy expressed through
emphasis of technique and gravitational pull, a la Jackson Pollock. It engages the spectator with
different kinds of violence that is life’s platter as different from ‘Srngar’-decorative.
