Event Details : 'The Archaeological Landscape of Nalanda' talk by Dr Diwakar Singh, Department of History, Sri Venkateswara College.
This illustrated lecture will explore how material remains at Nalanda put in question the so-called period of decline, and discuss what other archeological sites in and around the main Nalanda ruins tell us about Buddhism, its monasteries, propagation, and the interaction between Buddhism and Jainism.
