Event Details : 'Art for Concern', a two day art exhibition organized by Concern India Foundation.
This is a fund raising initiative. Showcasing the eclectic collection of art by masters and promising artists,
the show boasts of works by acclaimed artists like Akbar Padamsee, T. Vaikuntam, Suhas Roy, Sanjay Bhattacharya, Dhiraj Choudhury, Gogi Sarojpal and Jogen Chowdhury, all of whom have had the distinction of having a number of solo shows in the country and abroad. All the featured works of art have
been priced under Rs.50,000, with most of the works priced between Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 30,000. Overall the collection will feature 70 art works by 39 artists.

Concern India Foundation is a registered, non-profit charitable trust working towards its objective of Helping People Help Themselves by making the disadvantaged self-reliant and thereby enabling them to lead a life of dignity. Set up in 1991, they support over 200 programmes across India working in the areas of education, health and community development.
