Event Details : “Samanvay”, a solo show of paintings and photo art by Shubhra Chaturvedi.
The exhibition explores the inter-relationships between the abstract and the defined. Once again bringing canvas and camera together and going further to explore mixed media, this collection titled “samanvay” explores the fusion between the themes of abstraction and form and their inter-relationship. The blending of abstract into the defined and conversely the transition of form into the formless reflect the patterns of our thoughts. This is about a journey of our emotions and their manifestation into our actions and words and then again from action back to reflection.
The works have been inspired by the artists' own journey experienced through feelings and thoughts.

About the Artist : Shubhra Chaturvedi is an upcoming artist who is exploring the world of abstract art through painting, photography and mixed media. From art installations at Metro stations in Delhi to murals and photo art, Shubhra’s recent works  are fraught with experimentation, playing with a variety of themes and techniques.  Samanvay, her third solo exhibition, is a significant step in this journey of exploring new facets of life through her art.
