Cheitharol Kumbaba is the official royal chronicle of the kings of Manipur. It traces the history of the Manipur
kingdom back to 33 AD and it ends with the last king, Bodhchandra Maharaj in 1955. In the present turmoil of Manipur, it is important to read the Cheitharol Kumbaba to understand the state to bring much needed change for peace.
