Event Details : 'I Can' The first ever festival for positive change done BY THE CHILDREN of Vidya and Child, for NCR. “I Can” is a one day fully children organized festival where over 200 children of Vidya and Child will showcase to the NCR how THEY CAN AND HAVE taken responsibility to positively impact their lives today.
Under The Creative Project, organized by Dreaming Child Productions and Vidya and Child School, 200 children from Vidya and Child were given the opportunity to learn one subject of their choice. The following workshops were taken forward: Robotics, Electronics, Film making, Set Design, Architecture, Film-Editing, Choreography and Mass Communication.
Then The Creative Project faculty, belonging to prestigious organizations like NDTV, TERI, IIT, College of Arts, SPA and many more, volunteered to train these children for six months.
The aim was not merely to able them with one subject, but to instill in them life-skills, exposure, self knowledge, understanding of the world, leadership qualities and much more through the process of learning a subject of their choice.
