Event Details : The Poetry Society presents 'Australian Poets : Readings and in Conversation' Dr. Robyn Rowland and Mr. Alex Skovron.
Dr. Robyn Rowland has published several books including New & Selected Poems (2010) representing 40 years of poetry; winner of poetry prizes, including the Writing Spirit Poetry Award, Ireland 2010; curates and presents the Poetry & Conversation Series for the Geelong Library Corporation
Mr. Alex Skovron has been published widely and five collections have appeared to date including : Infinite City (1999), shortlisted in the Age Book of the Year and the Victorian Premier’s Awards; The Man and the Map (2003); and, most recently, Autographs (2008), a volume of prose-poems.
