Event Details : We have chosen Tea as the motif for our event, since in our country, a cup of tea, or chai, has been the universal expression of sharing a moment together, unwinding and catching up with friends or family, or even strangers in a teashop. The event is targeted to be an exposition for the youth in the city, to come together over a cup of tea, and watch some world class music and dance productions. Our event shall consist of cultural programs of music and dance, showcasing top contemporary musicians in the country, producing international music, along with dancers enhancing the context of the theme, in the backdrop of an exposition to the making and tasting of various kinds of tea, in specialized stalls set up by leading tea gardens and brands.

The events will showcase the excellence of top artistes in the city and beyond, and shall include eminent bands like Mrigya (featuring Sharath Shrivastava and Gyan Singh with their group), Soul Samvaad (Murad Ali Khan and Feteh Ali Khan), Adil & Vasundhara (leading jazz band from Delhi), Flying Teapot (A young jazz, funk & blues band with a Spanish trumpet maestro), Gautam Ghosh Collective ( a leading Indian World Music band) and Plan B (Kolkata’s best classic rock band), and dance recitals by top Indian and foreign artistes attached to our Music Forum.
