Authors who will be present include Fatima Bhutto; Mohammed Hanif who will read from his new book Our lady of Alice Bhatti; Mirza Wahid, London based Kashmiri expat writer who will read from his new book Kashmir The Collaborator; Shehan Karunatileka, Sri Lankan author of the acclaimed cricket novel, Chinaman; Amit Chaudhury; release of Anita Nair’s new anthology of poems Malabar Mind; Suresh Menon and Bishen Singh Bedi will talk about the new biography of Bishen Singh Bedi (Penguin); Palash Mehrotra; Arvind Mehrotra who talk on his new work on Kabir’s poems; Ashwini Singh, author of Chanakya’s Chant; Rahul Bhattacharya; and many others.
