Event Details : 'Abhinaya (Jealousy, Gossip, Anger and Rejection)' by Bharatanatyam Dance by Geeta Chandran.

In this innovative performance the renowned Bharatanatyam dancer Geeta Chandran will abhinaya, focusing on the less presented human behavior and emotions of jealousy, gossip, anger and rejection.
Dancer Geeta Chandran was trained in abhinaya by her Devadasi Guru  Smt. Swarna Saraswathy aka Abhinaya Saraswathy. Subsequently she furthered her abhinaya skills under Smt. Jamuna Krishnan and Smt. Kalanidhi Narayanan. In this performance, where she will be accompanied by vocalist Sudha Raghuraman, Geeta will explore the emotions of jealousy, gossip, anger and rejection.
