  2. Really I was very happy to know that Ahmadiyya Muslim community is organising Quraan exbition in New elhi. I think it is the first time that this type of exbition is taking place in India.

  3. Holy Quran Exhibition at Constitution Club, Connaught Place, Delhi Comes to a Close amidst protests by several Muslim fundamentalists. for more Information PLZ Visit Our Website http://www.alislam.org/ India Toll Free Helping Number: 1800-180-2131

The Muslim fundamentalists are not in favour of this noble objective. Such fundamentalists started their protests on the very first day of the exhibition calling Ahmadiyyas as Non-Muslims and as having no right to exhibit Holy Quran.
Responding to such false accusations, Secretary External Affairs of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat in India, Syed Tanvir Ahmad said, “We do not need a certificate of being Muslims from anyone. We believe in all the basic tenets of Islam and this exhibition was meant to remove the misconceptions among people about the teachings of The Holy Quran and Islam”. He further added that Ahmadi Muslims are peace loving people and have always been law abiding citizens of the nation.

The second day of the exhibition began amidst heavy police presence outside the Constitution Club. A mob of fundamentalists reached the venue at around 11 am waving the placards asking authorities to close the exhibition and forcing the community to bring the exhibition to an pre-mature end. The Ahmadiyya Muslim community strongly criticizes such protests against a peaceful exhibition.
Speaking to media persons, Mr Dawood Ahmad, President of the Community in Delhi said, “We are very deeply pained by such behavior of fundamentalists. We fail to understand how anyone can oppose such a beautiful and peaceful exhibition which was an effort to create harmony in society”.
The exhibition was planned to be a three day affair beginning from Friday, September 23, 2011.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is the only Islamic organization to believe that the long-awaited Messiah has come in the person of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as) (1835-1908) of Qadian. The community is spread all across the globe in more than 200 countries.
