Ranjodh Singh……..Progressive Journey
Academically a qualified engineer and professionally a businessman being Managing Director G. S. Radiators Ltd., he is temperamentally an art aesthete, compulsively a photo-artist and a global tourist. Bitten by the Camera-bug, he is at times of cut-throat competition of commerce, industry and business; he seeks a whiff of fresh air in the atmosphere of Arts, especially photography. No wonder, he made countless experiments to get closer to the mystery of the logic of camera eye in combination with the magic of human eyes. He has double blessings of sight and insight. He makes East and West meet as spiritual twins. He is a mystic as a photo-artist, with several exhibitions and awards plus two books to his credit, ‘Deskbook of Vision & Wisdom’ and ‘Japuji Sahib- Prayer of the soul.’ Currently, he is the President of Punjab Lalit Kala Akademy.

As a sensitive artist, he is always seeking objects bearing beauty and promising aesthetic pleasure. Gifted with keen observation, he selected the right frame from a variety of available objects. It is the exacting patience which stands by him in the trying, even troublesome, situation. He stills scenes and situations catering to the taste of the aesthete, even the invisible connoisseur. Simultaneously, he is conscious of his duty to the needs of such commoners as genuinely desire to seek aesthetic pleasure through visuals. His field is vast covering 3 decades of photographic work in the form of photo shows, photo based books and distinctively presented ‘Raag Ratan’ the photographic depiction of Gurbani Ragas based on Golden Temple, Amritsar. It is NATURE which is closest to his heart, perhaps soul. He is inspired by WISDOM : Love Nature to be Happy, Healthy and Holy.
