Event Details : Gallery Threshold presents an exhibition of Paintings & Sculptures by Chris Elliot.
Through their meticulous construction and fragile composition, Chris Elliots graphically reduced trees have the power to hold the spectators attention.The observer unconsciously accepts his spiritual equality with trees, which exist in a state of grace through a sense of propriety or rightness.
The artists works exhibit power, mystery, serenity .A link that can be constructed from these anthromorphic attributes that testify to mankind’s needs for trees’ spiritual inspiration to serve as a psychic nourishment and soulful medication.
About Chris Elliot : Born in 1954 and raised in New England, USA, Chris studied graphic design at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design. After graduation he moved to California working in special and film effects for television and publicity .He lives in the Alpine town of Grenoble , France.
