Event Details : Sakha creations celebrates every scorching summer as Greeshmotsava with growing youngsters. As these youngsters have tremendous energy. To give this energy a creative outlet Sakha Creations organize creative summer workshops on theatre, dance, music and painting.

These one month long workshops are held in the months of May and June every year. Here the child is made to explore himself, his society, his family and other surroundings. Think and feel about it through various activities and other allied arts like dance and music. 

The main objective of these workshops was the personality development of children where emphasis was laid on developing the qualities like: Confidence, concentration, Self Esteem, Negotiating Skills and Assertiveness, Self Presentation, Memory Enhancement, Time Management, Diction (Voice Delivery), Self Expression, Respect and Care of Others, Sense of Responsibility, Self Analysis, Self Acceptance, Awareness for their Arts and Culture, Awareness towards Surrounding and Society.

A drama production is prepared by the children with the name of “Door ke Dhol Suhawane” under the direction of Mr. Mahesh Rajput and Ritu Verma and Dances by Barun and Ajay       . 

Vocal workshop is organized under the guidance of Ms. Anju Gupta as vocal teacher where children learnt the basic techniques of singing and prepared a number of melodious Folk, Patriotic and Environments songs. 

Sakha Creations is a socio-cultural non profit organization working for the promotion of Indian arts and heritage since 2000. Our endeavor is to promote Indian arts and cultural heritage through organizing events of classical music, dance, folk arts, conferences, Seminars, workshops and kavi sammelan.
