Event Details : 'Is the Doha Round Really Dead? Should We Care?' a talk by Shri Ujjal Bhatia, IAS (Retd) and former Indian Ambassador to the WTO, Geneva.
The Doha Round which was launched with much fanfare as a Development Round in 2001 continues to languish. It’s possible failure would have deep implications. While there are no easy choices, the global community has to marshal the collective resolve to complete the Doha Round so that the WTO can focus on other changes.
