Event Details : 'In the Name of the Sarkar- The 1857 Uprising in Delhi' Illustrated lecture by Shri Mahmood Farooqui, journalist and newspaper columnist who has effected a major revival of Dastangoi, the art of Urdu storytelling; and co-director of Peepli Live. He has translated and compiled the recently published work Besieged: Voices from Delhi 1857.
