Event Details : Delhi Collage of Arts presents 9th Annual Art Exhibition.
The exhibition showcases the best art works of 96 students of Delhi Collage of Art (DCA) and displays work undertwo categories -‘Basic expertise’ and ‘2nd year’. These works were put under the scanner by an illustrious panel of judges before being adorned on the walls of the AIFACS Gallery.
This year’s exhibition presents over 250 art works, which includes realistic charcoal portraits akin to photographs, and innovative still life with 2d and 3d textures. Different mediums has been used like oil on canvas, water colour, acrylic, mix media oil pastel etc. by the students of basic batch. Particularly interesting and eye-catching are the wide variety of mature and creative works of the 2nd year students that could compete with the artworks of master level students in the field of art.
Under the guidance of Fine art guru Mr. Ashwani Kumar Prithviwasi, these students have excelled in their performance and created extraordinary art works in a short period of time. The well formatted, yet condensed syllabus offered by DCA, not only covers all essential basics but more importantly encourages students to make original and creative works, enabling them to form a niche for themselves in the world of art.
