Event Details : 'India’s Best Kept Secret – The Sarasvati Mahal Library' Illustrated lecture by Shri Pradeep Chakravarthy, Infosys Leadership Institute, columnist and author of The Cultural History of Thanjavur
The library, which dates from the 16th century, has a staggering collection of manuscripts, many not found elsewhere in the country. The subjects range from philosophy, music, dance, water divining, medicine, veterinary science, food and astrology.
