Event Details : Alliance française de Delhi, the French Embassy in India, AirFrance and Whyte & Mackay, in association with Magique, present Fortune - an amazing Pop-Rock Concert.

Fortune are a French indie power pop group that retain a very classic rock feel. Consisting of four Synth pop-rock bangers: their music is a balance between stellar writing and production values, overlaid with a mix of acoustic, electric and electronic sounds. It’s cool Parisian pop with electro sheen.

Their melodies flow easily against a darker groove, with a unique blend of pop, alt rock and synth sounds. Their music is inspired by pop rock bands such as The Zombies,The Troggs and Love, as well as Disco sounds from the “King of Pop” himself: Michael Jackson!

Also look out for strains of Grandaddy, Doppler Effekt, Lo-Fi-Fnk, Vampire Weekend, and The Cars. Fortune released their first EP in 2007: a brightly crafted melodic offering that simultaneously created an uproar with mass markets while also pleasing individuals. Needless to say their next album is eagerly anticipated.
