Event Description : THEATRE : Shree Umapati Theatre group presents "Taj Mahal Ka Tender" Hindi Comedy Play.

SYNOPSIS: This comedy play is about an old farmer and his beloved garden where he grew up. Taj Mahal ka Tender, a hilarious comedy, which revolves around what would have been the fate of Shahjahan's Taj Mahal, had the Emperor lived in the present times. This is the theme of this Hilarious Burlesque. The persistent Shahjahan, in no mood to accept the excuses for delays, sends the somnolent Government construction department into tizzy.  The engineers and overseers get down to the business of fulfilling the Emperors wish, as if they really could this.  An outbreak of activities ensues but in a typical sarkari manner. Tenders are issued. Contractors are hired but, does the project actually sees the light of the day or if the Mogul Emperor, fast forwarded in present times, becomes a victim of the system himself?  How his beloved Mumtaz reacts to all this?   Whatever may happen to the wonder tomb, but the lofty laughter castles are guaranteed, as the curtain rises on Taj Mahal ka Tender..
