Event Description : MUSIC : Rie Ona Trio live
La Bodega is delighted to host another live event with Rie Ona, Saxophone, Clarinet Saxophone and clarinet player in the band. After taking clarinet lessons, she started to play alto sax as well with the opportunity to be in a Jazz Big band. After moving to India, she has been a session musician and has been actively playing with jazz and funk bands in town.
Sonic Shori on Bass is a student of Grammy-nominated Greek-American musician Panagiotis Andreou. He has comprehensive stage experience having collaborated with musicians coming from different genres including classical, fusion, funk and metal. His playing combines complexity with cohesion, playing melodies with dexterity, musicality and tenacity.
Keyboardist Shivam Khare is a unique and well-rounded musician with a plethora of harmonic language. Adept at both western classical music and contemporary music he also studied Jazz at the prestigious jazz school SAM under New York based virtuoso pianist Jason Lindner, and was also adjudged as the “Most Distinguished Student”. Apart from being a gifted keyboard player he is also a composer and arranger.
