Event Description : Concern India Foundation presents Art for Concern- The Annual Show of Indian Art 2015.

Showcasing an eclectic and authentic collection of art by masters and promising artists, the show boasts of works by acclaimed artists like T. Vaikuntam, Suhas Roy, Jogen Chowdhary, Jayasri Burman, Gogi Saroj Pal, Farhad Hussain, Nayanaa Kanodia, Shyamal Mukherjee and Sudip Roy. While the focus is to raise funds for underprivileged sections of society, the exhibition also aims to highlight the work of underprivileged artists, thus providing them a platform unlike any other. Over the years, the participating artists have become an integral element of Art for Concern, enabling the organization to provide support to these worthwhile causes.
Anjana Khanna, Head of Art for Concern, says, “Every year we are both surprised and touched by the number of people who attend our exhibition. Our patrons continue to support us because we put up excellent artworks but I feel the philanthropic mission is a key motivator. Our supporters not only have an opportunity to add to their art collections but also to benefit underprivileged communities while doing so.”

A majority of the pieces are priced between Rs 30,000 and Rs 60,000, with the most expensive pegged at Rs 90,000.
