Event Description : Siddhartha’s first book Emperor of All Maladies was one of the most acclaimed books of 2010, winning the Pulitzer Prize and being included as one of the 100 best works of non-fiction by the New York Times magazine. He is making a rare appearance in Delhi and giving, what we think, will be an extraordinary and important lecture on science and censorship.

In 2015 we will be publishing Pulitzer Prize-winner Siddartha Mukherjee’s new work.
He is in Delhi this week to receive the Padma Shri from the Government of India and to celebrate he will be giving a lecture

About The Speaker: Siddhartha Mukherjee is a physician, scientist and writer best known for the 2010 book, Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer.  For that work he won a Pulitzer Prize and The Guardian Prize. It was named one of the 100 most influential books written in English since 1923 by TIME and one of the 100 best works of nonfiction by The New York Times Magazine.
