Event Description: Dastan - e - Raahi, Hindustani/Urdu/Bhojpuri Play. 

Celebrating the centenary of the great Hindi writer Dr. Rahi Masoom Raza, this Dastangoi performance traces his extraordinary journey from his childhood in Gangauli to his years as an uncompromising academic and the legendary writer who gave us the rustic soul of Aadha Gaon, a landmark of Hindi literature. It narrates his remarkable career as a writer and lyricist in the Bombay film industry, culminating in his screenplay and dialogues for B. R. Chopra's epoch-defining television serial Mahabharata.
