Event Description: Kanal Chilambu (The Anklet of Fire) by Shruthi Shoby. 

A Solo dance drama based on the poem by the legendary poet Prabha Varma. An epic poetic novella that unravels the complex inner world of an unnamed woman who stands defiantly against patriarchy, fate, and time. Through lived emotion, the performance explores the question, Why did the milkmaid laugh when her pot of milk broke? — not through despair, but through resilience and deep introspection, capturing the quiet yet burning grace of a woman who has loved, lost, and endured.
