This inspiring documentary, created by Youth Visions Studio, directed by Rachel Cisinski, produced by MITIKI in co-production with LP4Y ALLIANCE, highlights the powerful stories of four young adults facing today’s most pressing global challenges.
The film follows the journeys of four youth leaders from different parts of the world who are on the frontline of political, economic, and climate crises:
Paris, France: Mamadou, 26, a migrant from Guinea, collaborates with a screenwriter to create a film inspired by his own story of migration.
Jakarta, Indonesia: Dian, 21, a painter, documents the transformation of her slum neighbourhood threatened by rising sea levels, urban expansion, and displacement.
Delhi, India: Laxmi, 24, develops a musical about a young Indian girl who dreams of becoming a dancer despite family and societal resistance.
Akkar, Lebanon: Soumayraa, 23, the founder of an NGO, works to empower women in her rural community through solidarity and photography.
These four young changemakers come together in New York, where they are invited to testify at the United Nations and build lasting friendships.
Language: French with English subtitles
