Event Description:
Join us for an exclusive screening of the acclaimed documentary The Beatles and India, directed by Indian author and political journalist Ajoy Bose. This 2021 film offers a unique historical chronicle of the enduring love affair between The Beatles and India that began over half a century ago. Through rare archival footage, photographs, eyewitness accounts, and expert commentary, the documentary brings to life the fascinating journey of George, John, Paul, and Ringo from their high-octane celebrity lives in the West to a remote Himalayan ashram in search of spiritual bliss. This quest inspired an unprecedented burst of creative songwriting.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with Ajoy Bose: Director of the documentary and author of the book Across the Universe: The Beatles in India.

Networking Session:

After the discussion, attendees are invited to a networking session where light refreshments will be served. This is an excellent opportunity to engage with fellow enthusiasts and professionals in the fields of music, film, and cultural studies.
