Event Description: Verse & Voice: Performance Showcase

Join us for a captivating evening of poetry, spoken word, and cross-cultural performances, where participants from our Verse & Voice workshop series will showcase their creative talents. The event will feature a powerful display of both writing and performance skills, as the workshop participants share their original works alongside dynamic spoken word performances by our workshop facilitators Pauline Fúg, Vancouver Shullai and Saumya Choudhury.

In addition to these exciting performances, we are thrilled to present artists from the Simurgh Centre, who will deliver a unique bilingual experience, accompanied by the soulful sounds of the Rubab, offering a beautiful fusion of language and music.
