Event Description: What Duo

With a dark and velvety tone, Hiya Rukhsaar is an enthralling performer with a melismatic control over her voice. Sponsored by Disney India to study music at A.R. Rahman's KMMC in Chennai, she is also the winner of the Topper's Award by Trinity College of Music, London. She is trained in Western Classical music and has also worked as an Assistant Professor for Performing Arts at the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT).

Shailendra Wakhlu is a guitarist and composer from New Delhi. He specializes in improvisation-based music. With over two decades of experience on the guitar, he has performed and collaborated with many diverse artists, across genres. He has also lent his music to television shows, along with freelance sessions recording work.
