Event Description: Earth Mela'23 by 23:23 Designs

23:23 Designs is thrilled to host and curate the 5th Edition of Earth Mela'23. Sonali and Himanshu are excited and deeply honoured to announce their partnership with the Italian Embassy and Associazione Italiana in India, who generously support the Earth Mela Initiative.

This initiative celebrates conscious consumption while promoting homegrown brands, global sustainable development goals, and women-led organizations. Earth Mela'23 by 23:23 Designs will showcase 50 upcoming brands across sustainable lifestyle categories, including apparel, fashion accessories, home furnishings, decor, stationery, toys, healthy food, and more.

The first edition of Earth Mela was conceived in 2017, and 23:23 Designs has successfully curated all previous events, which have been tremendous successes each year. The return of Earth Mela, post-Covid era, promises to be even better and bigger.

Background: 23:23 Designs is a social enterprise founded by the dynamic husband-wife duo, Sonali and Himanshu Pal. Their mission extends beyond merely connecting artisans with markets; it's about empowering artisans to transform from wage earners into self-reliant entrepreneurs. 

Thus their Mission Mandate is People | Planet | Partnerships. 

With a strong presence in the rural development sector, they've positively impacted over 4,000 artisans across India, providing them with market access, knowledge sharing, and capacity building. They're alumni of the IIM NSRCEL program and are currently incubated by the NIFT Foundation for Design Innovation (NFDI). Supported by partners like UNDP, Ethical Fashion Initiative (EFI), Women on Wings (WoW), NRLM, and various Indian and international retail brands, 2323Designs continues its mission to make a difference.
