Event Description: Kathasutra Utsav by Swati Sinha Studio
Kathasutra Utsav is a showcase of our two productions, Kathasutra 1.0 and Kathasutra 2.0. It’s a celebration of Hindi literature and the traditional style of kathavachan or storytelling, through voice and visual art. It attempts to stage some very realistic stories that touch the deepest human emotions of love, pain, betrayal and sorrow. The event will stage four plays; all depicting different flavours and colours of life. It involves artists from the theatre and voice industry weaved together through a special medium of story narration and a beautiful array of light and sound.
